The illustration for the design was taken from a famous poster by 张仃 Zhang Ding

For the landscape posters, the illustration was
extended by me through drawing additional
people and flags in between. To ensure a similar amount of soldiers, workers and farmers, I cut the original illustration into three parts, adding on by hand in the three gaps.
